Sim Free & O2 question.

Okay I reserved the Sim Free iPhone 4 from apple on the 15th.

O2 have announced they aren't going to be selling the iPhone 4 on PAYG on the 24th (I'm going for PAYG) So will I still be able to buy a MicroSim from O2 on the day, or can I cut up a spare PAYG sim and use that in the Sim Free iPhone?
