My phone on (Xfinity) tells me once in a while there's no sim installed and I have to reboot anyone else?
 
Never seen that on any iPhone! I'd maybe get them to give you a new sim and if it continue to do it after that, I'd be looking and an exchange!
 
I had this issue on my older devices on iOS 12 and some users did reported the issue during the beta phase. You can toggle airplane mode which might be easier than the rebooting the device
 
Took it into Xfinity today for a new sim if that doesn't work back to Apple.
