Simfree Iphone 3G 3.0 Beta 5 --> 2.2.1 . Phone stopped working!

Hi all.

I installed OS 3.0 Beta 5, activated, and everything worked fine, but then I decided to go back to 2.2.1.

The restore procedure went fine apart from the 1013 error in the end, the jailbreak worked like a treat, but now the phone doesn't work at all:(

I have the baseband version 5.09, so downgrading it is impossible as of today.
I thought that the problem of the baseband was unique to the locked non-simfree iphone 3G, but I think I was wrong.

Any way to fix it? If I get back to 3.0 beta 5, will the phone work fine??
