SimFree on Iphone 3g 4.2.1 with modem 05.15.04

Hello all,

I have this Iphone, I updated the firmware to 4.2.1 yesterday
The iphone bought in HK
Now I want to use a locally sim and I can't because it cannt find the network.

Do I need to unlock the modem? to upgrade the modem ?
