Well I had a presentation in class last week, so I took a DVD, ripped some scenes from it into my mac using Handbrake, then imported it to iMovie and made the necessary editing to make it flow with my presentation, the DVD was a copyrighted motion picture, it's not like I stole it or something, plus, everyone in the class enjoyed it, they a lot of my classmates said that they were either going to buy the DVD or rent it when they got the chance, so I benefited the movie studio :D

ANYWAY...so my professor was thrilled! how did I do it?! I explained to her that I used a mac, she was wondering if I knew how to do it on a Windows machine because she has a lot of movies where she'd like to group clips of and show to her classes...anybody know of a way to do it for a Windows Machine?

Thanks

I know you can use Ulead to convert and encode it to the proper MPEG-2 DVD format. I'm just not sure how to rip it using Windows. :D
