Similar to Cowon's JetAudio

I was wondering if anyone knew of an application for Mac that's similar to JetAudio. I used JetAudio (PC) to record the output sound on my computer. For instance, I'd have something playing, and if I pressed the record button, it would record the sound while the file is playing into, say, an MP3 or WAV file. I'm trying to look for a similar software for my iBook. Thank you!
