Ok..so I have music (through CDs and purchased on itunes), movies, tv shows..appps etc. All of this is on Alienware PC

Now...a macbook.... how do i get all of this "stuff" on my macbook...? i dont have anything else besides the pc and the macbook (except for the ipod).

You could use your iPod. Does this look okay?

so it looks like once all the music is on the ipod..you connect it to the new mac..and only songs purchased via itunes will transfer? (will this then remove the songs from the old pc)?

No, and no. This method will transfer EVERYTHING - purchases, stuff you ripped from CDs, stuff you got from legal non-CD sources, etc. It will make a copy of the songs on your Mac - the stuff originally on the PC will still be there.

EDIT: Take a look at this thread on the same subject. Hope it helps.
