Simple but powerful image viewer

I want suggestions for image viewer.

Maybe it sounds strange that I want something like it is done in windows!
I want something to be able to view one image after another, just by pressing left and right arrow keys!
No mouse or touchpad, no need to open just one image at a time, like Preview app does.

I would like it to be rather minimal, but to be able to view all modern popular image formats like webp etc.

So, any suggestions?

If all your photos are in a folder in Finder, select the first photo, click the spacebar to preview the photo and use the arrow keys to move left and right between the photos in the folder.

you can highlight a bunch of photos in finder then right click open in preview & use either up or down arrows or spacebar to scroll through them?
