Hey All,
I just wanted to share with those who have had trouble dealing with some cases that have been sold, especially for those who feel that their volume or sleep buttons need too much force to depress.
I just used some scotch tape or packaging clear tape and cut a few pieces that will fit in the area of either the volume buttons or sleep button.
I noticed that the ebay bumper case and a my incipio frequency case did not feel right in terms of the force needed to depress the buttons. I was attempting to make it feel like what the buttons without the case.
It works well and typically stays on. The good thing is, layer 2 pieces first and then add 1 piece at a time until you like the force needed to press the button.
It has fixed (albeit temporaily) the "bad" cases that have had bad button fitment.
So hopefully this will help those who are dealing with button problems (incipio and other cases that were made prior to the release of the actual iphone).
(My guess is that the mold that they were producing was based on prototype without the actualy switches installed or they were using the measurements of the iphone 4/4S since they didn't have a fully functioning production iphone 5).
Hope this helps some people.
If you want picture, I can add those too, just ask.
