Simple iDVD project

I am trying to make a simple DVD for family members. I am using pics and short videos from iPhoto. Is there a way to make a simple DVD that one can scroll through that looks like iPhotos Events thumbnail ? I dont want any themes, just a plain menu that will be easy for my older relatives to use. I am still learning iDVD. Thanks, MC
