Showa notification for new emails? That was my favorite thing about Android. A message would popup when I had a new email. For example "You have a new email from Nathon" But if I had more than one new email it'd say "You have 2 unread messages" On iOS all it does is make a sound. It's sad. Especially when my iPad's on silent and it doesn't tell me I have an email, because iPads don't have vibration capabilities. So my question is, in iOS 5, are there finally actual notifications for emails? And if so, do they show a new notification for each email, or do they group them together like I showed above? AND, if it does group the messages together when there's more than one message, what does it show when there's just one message? Does it show the sender like I showed above?

Simpler answer: yes.

It show's the five newest emails you've recieved from ALL INBOXES.

Email notifications appear at the top of the screen like text notifications. Once you have over five it says, "You have six new emails" or something of the sort. I'll try to grab a screenshot when I get an email notification.

Even if you set it to 10 in the notification settings?
