I'm heading to college next year for photojournalism and I'm wondering what upgrade would make the current 13" mbp last the longest.

Thanks.

Simple question back: What current 13" MBP, the 2.4 or 2.66 GHz model?

As only HDD and RAM are upgradeable, I vote for the RAM and maybe an SSD down the line.

Sorry, if my post was to vague. The list of possible upgrades I can afford currently is all, expect not any grouped together.

So it's the 2.4 with an upgrade or the 2.6 with upgrades when needed, but I hope to avoid any upgrades until I'm finished with college and working.

Honestly just get the 2.4ghz model and buy an 8gb ram packet on the side and install it, will cost you about 100$ rather than the 300$ or so from apple.
