Is it possible to set my imac to only wake from sleep when a keyboard button is pressed.. rather than when the mouse moves?

I am using my imac solely for audio production at the moment and am often waking it from sleep accidently by nudging the mouse.

? thanks

If your computer sleeps, you should be able to move (but not click) the mouse as much as you want... However, if it's just the screensaver, or the turn-monitor-off-after-inactivity feature, that's sensitive to mouse movement.

oh that might be the issue then.. ill check my settings tonight.. thanks

actually my setting appear to be correct. Its set to enter sleep mode, not a blank screensaver.. and the imac still wakes when the mouse is moved. Its an aftermarket logitech mouse.. maybe that is the issue?
