I hate sounding like a smug jerk, but I've comes to the simple realization that most people don't really wrap their head around the concept of how a company of this magnitude will ship out their watches on a global level.

Take scenario A:

I have 3 individuals, two in NY and one in California. The one in California ordered at 3:10 EST. The ones at NY both ordered significantly later. Both individuals were promised the same delivery window.
2 products are made and arrive at a shipping hub, and is sitting there waiting to be delivered. The shipping hub is about 20 miles out from NY, and 2800 miles out from California, the watch will ship to the two individuals in NY, because of simple distance and costs associated with shipping to the people of NY vs California.

Now multiply this on a massive scale and this is what happens with the apple watch.

All the people saying I ordered at "xx:02" and complaining that someone from "xx:15" is getting the same model first are not justified in doing so just because they put an order in first. I get the frustration, but both individuals were promised the same window, the point of panic should be when they miss your delivery window.

Keep in mind that Apple is a worldwide company and we have to remember what a nightmare it would be to have one manufacturer putting together a watch and delivering it to the amount of countries apple is doing so at launch.

Flame me or call me arrogant but this is just the honest truth. I'm still waiting for my 42 SS with LB to ship, but they haven't even hit their window yet. I won't be looking at the time ordered, but rather my proximity to the shipping hub we have yet to see, probably Kentucky but who knows.
