Hello folks--

I have a pair of USB drives that I use often, and I was simply wondering if there's any way to keep the name of the drive from appearing in all capital letters on my desktop whenever I plug it in. If I change it so that it's not all caps, as soon as it's re-mounted it reverts to all capitals.

It's not a functionality problem at all, just an aesthetics thing that I'm sure someone knows the answer to.

Thanks in advance.

You'd have to format the drive to HFS+ in order to use lower case letters. You're going to get all capital letters on a FAT32 drive.
