Hey guys I lost my visual voicemails when upgrading my iPhone 4 to the 4S. I used the new sim card in the 4S and now I have 0 voicemails. I backup'd my iPhone 4 before activating my iPhone 4S so I do have that as an option. Should I just restore from backup to get my voicemails back? I just don't wanna lose any other data my phone has gained since the 14th. Any help would be grateful!

Have you received voicemails since you upgraded. Call yourself from a different phone and leave a voicemail, you maybe don't have the password entered. After the voicemail is left the phone will ask for the voicemail password. Enter your password and your voicemails should appear.

i've received two since upgrading. i also reset my password as I heard this could be a fix, but didn't help.

Have you tried calling your carrier? I'm sure they can get you an answer since nobody here seems to know.

I'm pretty sure your voicemails are not stored on the backup for the iPhone, but I could be wrong.

I agree, I highly doubt the voicemails are stored in the backup.
