Hello!

I'm a MacRumors newb. Just got my iPhone about a month ago... and I've had a MacBook for about a year now. I've already found a TON of useful info here!

tty later... gotta go keep searching.

;)

Hi and please do yourself a favor and get a screen protector you won't notice it is even on there and you will be glad after a couple more months when it prevents that one scratch from happening right in the middle of your screen like mine... it haunts me every time i pull my phone out of the pocket now

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5H11 Safari/525.20)

Hi there and welcome to the forums!
You will surely like it here very much!
Enjoy your iPhone!

Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome!

EB66... Thanks for the heads up about the screen protector. I immediately got a skin in which to wrap the phone, and purchased the (horrible) screen protector 3-pack from AT&T the day I got the phone. The screen sheets were RIDICULOUSLY hard to get on straight, and immediately started pulling up from the edges because of the way the skin fits. The skin is a Contour Fusion, and I love it!.

I've been winging it without screen prophylactication.

Are there any recommendations for a good screen protector that won't pull up on the edges? I was using the Zagg invisible Shield on my Instinct, but it seems to degrade the sharpness of the display.

First and foremost, Welcome to the forums! You're gonna love your iPhone.

For screen protectors, I suggest getting the Steinheil Anti-Fingerprint Film if you don't like any fingerprints or smudges on your screen. Clarity is better than the PowerSupport's Anti-Glare. And may I recommend visiting the iPhone Accessories for that.
