Sims 3 Installation Failed, HDD Space Lost

I was installing The Sims 3 today and the installer froze. So I went ahead and force quit it. I found that 6 GB of my HDD space is lost and I couldn't find anything. Nothing Sims 3-related in /Applications/, and I couldn't find the log in Console.

Is it possible to recover that 6 GB of space? Thank you very much.
 
It's in some hidden folder (starting with a dot ".") in /Applications... So google on how to display hidden files/folder.
