Sims 3 on MacBook Pro?

hey guys, quick question. im running a last gen macbook pro 13' with the 9400m graphics card. My question is, is it better to run it and play it on osx or my windows 7 64bit partition (original partition size was 32gb, but after everything was installed, roughly 18gb's were left). Im asking because i installed counter strike source on my windows partition and it ran perfectly, while when i tried to play it on osx (after steam for mac was released) i would have to lower many of the settings to play it. Sorry if this question is kind of silly.

edit. just found out that it does run better on windows.

new question, does only having 18gb free space, will that hinder my playing sims? should i repartition it with more space?

I would dedicate more space to the Windows partition if you're going to want to play games. Almost every modern 3D game runs significantly better under bootcamp than OSX. A 32GB partition is a bit small. How much you allocate depends on what games you want to install and if you want to keep games installed.
