Simultaneous brightness controls for a MB or MBP running a 24" LED ACD?

So, I've had my LED ACD for a while now and still can't figure out how to dim the ACD along with my MBP simultaneously when using either the MBP keyboard or the Apple bluetooth keyboard. The ACD is running in extended desktop mode and I'm getting tired of manually dragging the brightness of the ACD down to match my MBP (at night for instance).

Does anyone know of a way to control the external display brightness to sync it up with the primary display?
