My daughter has been frustrated with the camera on her 11. She’s been frustrated that she didn’t get the pro because she is getting a lot of grainy/blurry photos. Basically, the cameras are the same minus the zoom, right? She’s not really using zoom for these, so I don’t know that the issue is the phone/camera itself.

I’m wondering if there are some settings we are missing (I’ve noticed it here and there on my 11 as well). I’ll either get a blurry shot, or, if I take what looks like a super amazing photo then I zoom it in a little, it looks all blurry and almost pixelated. It’s strange.

Anyway, is there maybe a good tutorial online that would show the settings that would give you the best pics with just a point and shoot type photo? I’m thinking maybe we have inadvertently turned something off that may improve the photo quality.

I’m not sure there is a tutorial that makes much sense as the phone tends to do most things automatically.

You could potentially share some images with the forum though.

Are you guys taking live photos or mostly regular stills?

It's all automatic. It's a point & shoot camera. If the light is ok brightness (not dim) and behind you or at 90° or so (not shining in lens) and held still and the lens is clean, the camera almost always takes clear acceptable looking pics.

11 Pro and 11 camera are exactly the same, minus the zoom on the 11.
Grainy and blurry photos ? Definitely not in my case (and I have both).
Check if the phone is not defective.

My 11 pro is taking good shots.

I think mostly regular stills, and I’ll see about having her take some pics that don’t have her kids in them, and share those to see what yall think.
