since iPhone 3.0 bluetooth is getting open to more devices...

When we get 3.0, bluetooth will finally be able to use many different bluetooth devices. I am wondering if Apple will then release the Nike+ application that is available on the iPod Touch Second Generation. Since it was like a bluetooth connection connecting the sensor to the iPod. I really would like for apple to release for the iPhone the Nike+ application and the ability to pair with the sensor. Do you guys think that Apple will do this for us?
 
I think it might be a hardware limitation, so probably not - though I'd be amazed if the new iPhone hardware didn't support it.
