i am just curious if we would see just as many threads about old hp desktop pc in the sales in the mac pro section of this forum.

Will we see a touchpad forum on here soon?

well you go to the Iphone section you will find countless threads claiming that this blackberry o HTC, Samsung or Android device is the next Iphone Killer. while these are just people excited about a good deal myself included. I don't think you need to worry about the touchpad taking over the forum, however!

One of the reasons the TouchPad is so popular among iPad users is because we already know how useful Tablets are. So for now then its a hot topic, but in a few weeks when inventory is gone then we'll get back to talking about the same redundant iPad topics we're used to.

BTW. One way for Apple to squash this TouchPad hysteria is to announce the iPad 3 or release iOS5.

Why would MacRumors have a forum section for a device that is not manufactured by Apple and has been discontinued anyway?
