iPad mini Since when? OG iPad mini in Space Grey!

I never noticed this before apples big announcement this morning. But the original iPad mini now comes in Space grey, not Black & Slate. I looked for current availability at my local Apple stores and none of them have the Space Grey available at the moment. Has anyone else noticed the color change? Myself, I’m pretty stoked because I wishing the iPad mini was available in Space Grey before I were to buy it this Friday and boom, now it is!

yeah, because it was just announced TODAY. It was slate just before 10am pst...

I've not seen the v2 in the flesh (obviously), but the images suggests this might only be a name change. That is, the slate on the v2 mini looks more black than the slate on the 5c.
