does a bigger screen on a phone make the phone better? its all about preferences and honestly 3.5 inches is not small at all, is a bigger screen nice? yeah sure but i dont want a block in my pocket i want a phone in my pocket, a small yet good device that is carried with me everywhere that wont make my pockets bulge.

I agree it is a matter of preference. Coming from the Thunderbolt, I find the iPhone 4S screen too small. I'm not returning the phone over this, but I am finding it difficult to adapt. The menu text is very tiny, and despite being sharper, tiny is tiny. But I guess that's what my iPad 2 is for....
i dont wear skinny jeans, and ill admit 4 inch screen is perfect and anymore is just plain too big imo.
