Single name entries for address book

This is purely for aesthetic purposes but it's been niggling me for a while. I want to be able to have a couple of entries in my address book down as one namers - 'Mum' and 'Dad' - but the system blocks me. If I enter them as either first or last name then all works fine, (including syncing with my phone,) until I send an email. After using Mail, the entries become "Mum Mum" or "Dad Dad".

Any ideas? I know I can enter them as a company but was wondering if there's any other solution around?

I just put Mom (mylastname) and Dad (mylastname). Looks kinda odd, but I got used to it. I did the same for my siblings.

Or you could make them companies. It would solve your one name problem.
