Could someone please explain this image to me?

Lately in 10.1.4 I've been getting a lot of weird errors... The Finder has been popping up 'Finder.out' messages. QuickTime has been popping up all sorts of 'Oops!' errors. And the other day I got this... I've also had it happen to me in QuickTime.

The application it happens to basically stops functioning normally, but a force quit and opening it again works fine...

Wierd

The strangest thing about this is that the Finder has extra menus. Its like the .nib file for the Finder is corrupted and causes more menus to appear than really should.

This is one of those things that signal you might need a reinstall.

Anyone else got any ideas???

I back-up and reinstall my system once a month, and even straight after a fresh start i get a similar thing when playing some divx files in quicktime. It's a bug all right, but not one that goes away with a reinstallation.

i had the same thing happen o me in qt player the other day!
yes i was playing divx files. i had probably watched 20 of them since i had stated up qt player.

so has anyone heard of sioux in relation to os x? is that like the native american tribe?
