Hi All,

So just today, I've noticed that Siri is adding the word 'add' to the end of everything I say to it.

e.g. If I was to ask - "Will I need an umbrella at work on Monday", the text that shows what I asked will say "Will I need an umbrella at work on Monday add".

And this happens for EVERY thing I say.

"What time is it in Paris"
Text: "What time is it in Paris add"

"Where is the nearest sushi restaurant"
Text: "Where is the nearest sushi restaurant add"

Anybody got any ideas?

I've rebooted my phone, even though that shouldn't really matter as Siri's speech to text is all server-side.

I wouldn't worry too much except that it throws it off on many requests and thinks I want to add information.

Also, it doesn't appear to affect Dictation at all.

And it also happens when using the microphone on the EarPods too.

Thanks!

Are you Canadian? Maybe you're adding Eh to the end and Siri thinks it's add.

No better ideas then
1) switch off/on Siri, not reboot; but Siri itself
2) switch to different language/region and try again

3) if that not helps and no other better idea pops up: visit an Apple Store nearby; at least they could have a look

Oh no.... Siri is adding "add" on the end of everything I say.... I'm Australian too!

Can anyone help me tame Siri, she's gone nuts. Why does she think I'm saying "add" on the end of everything? And how can I make her stop, please? I'm new in this forum, just joined a couple of minutes ago so I can participate in this thread, but really it's sooooooo nice to have Mac people around, instead of people telling me to get an android :)
