Is Siri able to make lists? This could be fun for task management, which is something I definitely need.

"Siri, make a to-do list for tomorrow."
"Go to the grocery store, get milk, eggs, bread, coffee."
"Drop mail off at the post office."
"Deposit check at the bank."

This would be useful. I didn't see any mention of it on the Apple website.

You can tell Siri to add things to Reminders (and Notes). It was a big feature of the 4S ad campaign, did you not see it?!

e.g.
Remind me to get milk at 10am tomorrow
Add milk to my shopping list
etc

Okay. Is there a way to modify the reminder? I don't know if I am long winded enough to read off an entire grocery list to Siri.

And then remove certain things off the list as I get them in the store?

I have the eggs. "Remove eggs from my reminder" ?

You cannot create reminder lists in Siri but if you go into reminders, you can make one yourself. Call it shopping list. then you can tell Siri 'add eggs to my shopping list'. It would probably be easier to check off stuff by hand than do it through Siri.

Thanks for making me look into this, now I can break down my uni reading lists!

lol. happy to help. looking forward to better time management. the tasks app on my blackberry is atrocious.

Off topic but are you from Merthyr Tydfil?

Yes I am. Took a lot of thought for my name :p

Like Scartissue says it will be easier to do it by hand. There's just a square by the side you tap and then it puts a little tick in the box to show you you've checked it off the list.
