Not sure if I worded this correctly, but when using Siri in the past it usually defaults to wherever my music is playing; which is my BT setup to my aux input on the back of my factory stereo. The problem with this is I have a convertible and the mic setup is pretty marginal at best. There's usually too much background noise for Siri to understand me. But if I disconnect the audio from the BT, Siri uses the built in noise cancelling on the iPhone and understands me much better.
So today I click on Siri while driving and notice the audio selection button. I think, cool...this is more convenient. So I go ahead and use Siri on the iPhone as I drive thinking that when I'm done I'll have to manually switch music playback to the BT setup when I'm done. But to my surprise, once I finish with Siri music picks back up over my car's BT?!?!
I guess this is an iOS 6 feature? Anybody else notice this? If someone tells me it was there before and I just didn't notice it I might have to do something crazy.
At the very least, my luck will be that this subject has been discussed to death and I've missed it somehow. Hahaha.... Either way, I'm a happy camper as Siri just got 10x more useful to me.
