I recently bout a pair of Sennheiser Adidas 685i behind the neck headphones. When I am on my run, Siri keeps randomly activating. I don't know if it these headphones since they have a mic and inline controls built in, or if it is something with the iOS. I am running the latest non-beta version. Anyone else have this problem? I have had the headphones for about 6 months and the Siri thing started up in the last month or so. I have already tried wiping the phone and that didn't help. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Did you find a fix for it? It is getting really annoying as the program I'm using doesn't restart the music after Siri is activated. I love the headphones, but today it was activated about 6 or 7 times in about 30 min!

It happens the most when i m walking or on the bike. Not really a solution but I find restarting the apps affected and pulling out/in the headphones work as a temp fix.

I've tried all of those to no avail. I'm wondering if it could be the wiring on the headphones? Maybe the cord is getting bent and that is causing something inside the cable to touch something it isn't supposed to. I don't really know. This is the only pair of headphones I have used that has had the built in mic and controls.

I have the same issue, my headphones are "yourbuds" (ironman series with mic) and the app for the activity tracking is runkeeper (elite version), I've been using the app and the headphones since March, but this siri issue started yesterday, I tried the restart of my iPhone and didn't work, then disabled Siri but the issue is still there with the voice control. What else should we try?

I had my Siri activate randomly too and it turned out that the Raise to Speak option on my iPhone was activated.

Ensure this is not the case as otherwise Siri will activate each time you put the iphone next to your ear- I guess it has to do with the light-sensor.

Settings > General > Siri > Raise to Speak > OFF
