Tell Siri to compose a message to someone.

Siri will then read the message back and ask if you want to send it.

Then say "edit message".

Siri will now ask you for the edited message.

In iOS 7 Siri would then confirm you want to send the edited message.

In iOS 8 Siri now asks you who do you want to send the message to obviously forgetting the original recipient.

This becomes irritating when using "hey Siri" in the car.

How do you have your phone set up in your car? I have my 5s connected to my car's built in Bluetooth and connected to a cigarette lighter charger.

When I say 'hey Siri' it will start listening for a command but it never hears anything said. At all.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong!

FYI it works fine when connected to a charger in the house (ie no Bluetooth involved).

I have a Mercedes and hey Siri works fine in the car via Bluetooth and plugged in.

Not sure why Siri can't edit the message though. Editing works 30% of the time.
