Struggling with a Siri issue, that I can't seem to find a reference to.

I have a 6S+, but my main sim is still in my 4S (forgot they were a different size).

So temporarily I've put a pay-as-you go sim in the 6S+, and never enabled the data component of it.

My Phone is sat here with a decent mobile signal (but unable to use data - will get redirected to a top-up page) and a good wifi connection.

While every internet app seems to work great, siri will not work unless I turn off the mobile data settings (otherwise I just get a connection issue)

I've turned off the 'use mobile data when on weak wifi' option, I've rebooted several times, but always the same issue. If mobile data is on, then siri won't work.

Has anyone else come across this? or is there some other setting I can change? I'm just not comfortable using my metered mobile data when I have a perfectly good unmetered wifi connection available.
