I'm wondering if Apple has finally given Siri (from an iOS device) the power to control playback from an iTunes library on a local iTunes server.
iTunes match allows this, but then of course it's coming from a 256k AAC being downloaded onto the phone/iPad from the cloud.
The Remote.app for iOS enables control of an iTunes library on the network of course.
But I am looking for a way to play music from an iTunes server on my network in full resolution (much of it is 24 bit) using Siri on my iPhone or iPad.
Have they finally enabled this?
And no, I don't want to subscribe to Apple Music as another lo-fidelity solution.
