Siri doesn't know me

so i set Siri with my info up a few days ago. today i was just playing around and said "Siri, what's my name?" she said "i don't know who you are. you can go into siri setting and enter your info" so i went to her settings and sure enough my stuff wasn't in there. so i put my info back in

asked the same question and got the same response.
double checked and my info was still there
so i turned her off and then back on and she now knows me.

not a big deal since its easy enough to get it working. but still a glitch. anyone else have this happen?

Apparently if you turn siri off, your settings are lost.

i had introduced myself a few days ago... i don't remember turning her off at any point. suppose its possible though. but i don't understand why i added my contact info through the siri settings and she still "didn't know me"

and then i turned her off and on and she knew me without having to re-add my stuff. showing that turning her off doesn't clear settings.
