Siri seems to be unavailable for a whole load of people in the UK right now. Looking at a lot of forums including Vodafone, avforums, and other private ones with people complaining of non functionality.
Called a load of friends up and they also confirmed it's not working on their 4s' or 5's.

Might just be too much traffic on the server?

Thought I'd post it here anyway, since this is the first place I looked.

Good point. Forgot to say, using iPhone 5 with Vodafone in Beaconsfield, Bucks.

Same here in London on WIFI, the outer ring just spring round and round.

Got a spoken message after couple of mins about Siri is not able to help, please try again in a bit.

This sounds like a similar experience to what we had in the US the first few days/weeks that Siri launched on the 4S last autumn.
I expect the UK is seeing a huge uptick in Siri requests as 4/3GS owners move to the Siri-enabled 5.

Down for me too since 1pm on iPhone 5 completely but not on iPad 3 all the time, near Cambridge on wifi and three
