Is anyone else in the UK having problems with Siri not working?

Not only in the UK. I'm in Austria and I've had problems since yesterday and since this morning Siri doesn't work at all anymore.

That they are in the process of updating the database so that we can have full functionality here in the UK soon:)

I was thinking the same. Maybe it's got something to do with the soon to be released 5.0.2 update.

I like the sound of that:) im sick of siri saying it can't help me coz it's only knows businesses in the united states

Do you get the message of

"sorry I didn't get that, can you say that again?"

As that's what comes up for me..so yeah doesn't work for me too.

Well that message doesn't normally come up and tried it again and says can't take requests right now.

I think everyone is getting mixed results from Siri, it's saying all kinds of things to me, same end result, it ain't working

At least it is happening to us all

Or is it just those in the UK? If so that maybe is good news that we may be getting more features.

And we will be able to get local information about whats on, where to eat etc. It's not like it hasn't been done before.....I have a barcode scanner on my iPhone and iPad, scan the code and it comes up with an image of the product, stores you can buy it from, and websites too.

Works on the same principal.....Just a HUGE database that siri will be able to access.

Can't wait

It was said that the update was to be near the end of the year so maybe it isn't that far away.
