Siri Face & Now Playing

Has anyone else noticed that if you have Now Playing cards enabled on Apple Watch Siri Face that they don’t disappear.

Whenever I listen to music and then pause a song, the Now Playing card on my Apple Watch stays there indefinitely.

This can’t be how Apple designed this feature to work?
