Siri ... Google's replacement on the iPhone

I'm couldn't find where anyone else had posted on this. My guess is that Apple acquiring Siri is the nail in the coffin on Google Search on the iphone. As more folks use apps to find what they need, Siri would almost eliminate the need for "blanket" searches. Any thoughts on this?
