Siri in countries other than the US. Lacking too much functionality or still awesome?

UK user here.

How is Siri in other countries? In the US ads people are asking for directions, maps, local businesses, train times (?) etc... but I've read those features won't be available for the rest of the world for a while yet.

How is the current state of Siri abroad? Without the above is it currently lacking too much functionality, or do people around the world still have plenty of uses for it and don't find it lacking?

Thoughts and experiences very much appreciated!

I think the US is the only country that has those features currently. Other countries have been promised them next year. It is limited outside the US at the moment.
