Correct, as has been stated there is no new voices with beta 1

I really dont get how they can leave it in such a crap state.

Really you think so? I think Siri has improved a lot since it launched the iPhone 4S! I use it everyday but I'm wondering when her new voice will come. It sounded so real in the keynote.
