HomePod Siri is unable to process command

I told my HomePod “Siri, I don’t like that song”. SIRI replied “Sorry I am unable to do that”.

(That's the only way I get it to stop playing Christmas songs in June).

What causes this, how do I correct it so that it works the way it used to?
