This happened to me three times now..... The iPhone 6+ is plugged in to my Mac and charging and out of the blue SIRI starts talking. "I did not understand Blah Blah, do you want me to search the web"

Nobody touched the phone..... IOS 8.1

Anybody else had this happening?

Turn off "Hey Siri". It works when it's plugged in only, you must've turned it on during setup or by accident.

I think this may be because you have 'Allow Hey Siri' option turned on.

Go to Settings -> General -> Siri -> Allow "Hey Siri" to turn it off.

I had to turn off "Hey Siri", because it kept going off when I was watching TV. Also, at work there is a girl named Sara, but for whatever reason, when someone was near me and would say "Hey Sara", Siri thought they were talking to her. Kinda embarrassing when it happened in a meeting

Yes hey Siri responds to all kinds of words. It's bad. Maybe they'll fix it in a few years.

You have "Hey Siri" turned on and someone in the room mush have said something similar to "hey Siri" which your phone picked up on and started trying to understand what you were telling it. As it was likely just general conversation and not a command he won't have understood.
