How about a stripped down version of seri for ip4?

Much of what siri can do is on the phone it's self and doesn't go out to server

Only thing I miss about android is the voice search and I used it for texts too

I would like to buy an app for a 'local' version of Siri

You mean if, for example, I want to have siri compose a reminder it goes out to server?

I assumed local commands requiring local actions would remain local - like with android voice commands/actions

No everything goes out to the server. Siri is more complicated than android voice commands and that's why it needs to go to the server I think.

"Siri what's my wife's number?"
"I'm sorry I'm having trouble connecting to the network."
