hi,

wondering if anyone else experiences this. I'll explain equipment and usage:-

iphone xs (indoors)
4 gen AW + cell
1 gen airpods (also on gen 2 i sent back)

when moving from indoors to outside without my phone it takes 3 attempts every time to get siri to respond and play some music. it is not the change of connection from wifi to cell, it doesn't matter how far i move from wifi or how established the cell connection is it always takes 3 attempts.

attempt 1 - double tap airpod to initiate siri, request "play some music" - no response from airpods but watch face shows siri has heard the request. "I'll tap you when i'm ready."

attempt 2 - double tap airpod to initiate siri, request "play some music" - this time i get the siri beep from the airpods and watch face shows siri has heard the request. "I'll tap you when i'm ready."

attempt 3 - double tap airpod to initiate siri, request "play some music" - this time i still get the siri beep from the airpods and watch face shows siri has heard the request and the music plays.

just strange that its fairly consistent behaviour. all 3 attempts register on the watch but siri does not respond to the first two and gets stuck in the "i'll tap you when ready" until it just doesn't or i cancel the request manually and put my third one in which works.

i use double tap to initiate siri as the example but method doesn't matter either.
