When I attempt to access Siri (iOS 8 on either iPhone 6 or iPhone 5S) when the phone is asleep, I get no Siri connection (I'm on Wifi). The "wavy line" indicating connection is flat, and I get no "beep." Usually, if I dismiss Siri and try again, after about 5 times I get a connection. This is all at home.

When I'm out and about, or at work, I have no trouble accessing Siri the first time.

I'm assuming what is going on is that the wifi connection is slow to reestablish after the phone wakes up. I'm running a EA3500 router. However, this can happen on LTE as well.

Is there any way to test my theory about the router being the culprit?
