Siri not reading texts.

When I get a text, I have tried asking Siri to read it. She says: "New Message from so and so... Do you want to reply, etc, etc.."

So I ask her to read it again and she just says the above. What's the trick to actually getting her to read the message?

This feature has been pretty temperamental with me. Sometimes reading them, sometimes it just goes silent.

I'm yet to work out what the difference is between the read and silent messages? Possibly if you ask it to read a text in "text" speak?

You have to set your message settings to turn on message preview for them to be read.

I read somewhere that turning on SMS preview will make it work. I tried it with that turned on and it worked. But then I turned it off and it still worked. Seems like Siri reading text messages is hit or miss for now.
