Siri not searching in apps?

I’ve noticed this on both of my Apple TV 4Ks using the new Siri remote. If I try to use the remote to search for something in a variety of apps (YouTube, HBO Max, TV app, YouTube TV) when I enter the Search interface and press the button on the Siri remote it doesn’t search in the app. For example, below is a search I did in the HBO Max app for Game of Thrones using Siri and the results.

Has anyone else seen this?
