This move I really really really don't understand.

Siri works just great on my iPhone, and my iPad...and hopefully tonight on my MBP. Obviously Apple understands that I'm an adult and can configure the appropriate language.

Bought a new 4th Gen Apple TV some months ago, fully understanding that Siri was not yet enabled in the Netherlands, but low and behold with the latest release of tvOS, Siri is now enabled in the Netherlands....in dutch only.

So I can speak English to all of my devices EXCEPT for the Apple TV, which I must speak in dutch. How frikkin stupid. Why not blanket regions with English and add local language as an option. Of course I can speak some dutch, but Siri of course has a hard time understanding my pronunciation of certain dutch words.....

Totally backwards Apple, I really don't get you guys sometimes.....

Yup, totally agree. Dictation with region set to Netherlands and language english works fine.

I read somewhere it has to do with iTunes and content search.

Makes no sense to me. I simply refuse to use translated user interfaces. English is always preferred.
