Any time I ask my HomePod to play music by artist name ("Hey Siri, play music by The Beatles," "Hey Siri, shuffle music by Shawn Mullins.") it responds that I don't have any music by that artist. Doesn't matter the artist.

Yet if I ask it to play by album name, it has no problem ("Okay, playing 'Abbey Road' by The Beatles," "Now playing 'Souls Core' by Shawn Mullins on shuffle.") So it knows the artists names, it just doesn't seem to know when trying to play by artist! Even stranger/more annoying is that once I start playing this way, I can ask it "Hey Siri, play more music by this artist." and it works! So it DEFINITELY knows the artist correctly, it even knows how to play by artist, it just doesn't work when specifically requesting an artist by name.

It's infuriating for my spouse, who tries to play music this way. It's linked to a very large iTunes Match library with thousands of albums by hundreds of artists. Siri on iPhone/iPad has no problem playing by artist connected to the same library.
